But I was present during the big time of The Hacienda. Then working at BBC Manchester, we'd climb into the disco, house, funk tardis that is The Hacienda.
More recently at a Net2.0 gathering Tony was on hand interviewing the manager of Robbie Williams. I filmed bits of it. Greatly entertaining as Tony shouted down punters telling them to **** off.
